The Vacation care program is packed with exciting and new activities for the children to experience! Our fabulous program is proving very popular with children of all ages.

 

If you do not attend Connells point Public School you are still most welcome to attend our Vacation Care Service. We currently have many families from other schools that utilise our service, due to our great reputation!

 

To attend Connells Point Vacation Care, a child must be enrolled in primary school. That is children who are enrolled to start kindergarten can attend the January vacation care, as can the children who attended year 6 the previous December, as per government requirements.

Our staff ratio is 1 staff member to 15 children while at the centre, for excursions it is 1 staff member to 8 children.

 

Food

• Please do not bring food that requires heating or cooking. If the food is not properly heated it poses a health risk to your child.
  Please pack sandwiches, fruit, carrot sticks etc. If you would like more food ideas go to www.taste.com.au

• Please label all your food containers and ensure you bring eating utensils as we do not supply them.

• DO NOT BRING ANY FOOD THAT CONTAINS NUTS. It will not be given to your child as we have children at the centre who have life threatening allergies.

• WE HAVE CHILDREN WITH LIFE-THREATENING NUT ALLERGIES

 

Vacation Care hours 7.00 am to 6.00pm.
Please note we close promptly at 6pm. 

Please download your Vacation Care enrolment form and return to the centre with payment.

 

What to bring to Vacation Care

• Hat

• Sunscreen

• Suitable shoes and clothing for the day’s activities.

• We may have water play on any day, if it is warm. Please bring a change of clothes/swimmers every day, in case!

• ALL food for the day – morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a refillable drink bottle.
  Please do not bring noodles or any food that requires heating or cooking.

 

Please Do Not Bring

• Mobile phones. The children can be contacted on the centre’s phone, and they are free to call you from it if needed, under our supervision.

• Electronic devices and games are NO LONGER ALLOWED. They will be locked away until home time. Our wii and Playstation are available at certain times, for electronic fun! Mobile phones are not permitted.

• Unreasonable, non-compliant and aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please choose your days carefully. Full fees need to be paid in full when booking. There is no guarantee of placement otherwise.

 

Late enrolment fee of $10.00 (GST free) applies to all families who enrol after the due date.

 

Late collection of a child: $2 per minute, per child, which will be issued to your account.

Payment of Fees

Fees are to be paid in full for vacation care when booking.
