Our Committee and Staff
Connells Point BASC is a community-based Before and After-School centre, run by a parent Committee and with approximately 6 staff.
The centre is an incorporated association operated by a volunteered Parent Management Committee, made up of parents from the centre.
The committee consists of a President, Secretary, Treasurer, Marketing & Communication officer.
The committee is committed to managing the service according to the National Standards of Out of School Hours Care.

Assistant Coordinator/Educational Leader
Hello! My name is Louise. I have been working in Child Care for the past 28 years, with 18 years of that time being an Educator at Connells Point BASC. In 2019 I became the Assistant Coordinator & Educational Leader of the service. I enjoy engaging in the planned & spontaneous activities with the children, watching the children grow & building relationships with all the families of Connells Point BASC community.
At the end of the day my goal is to have made a difference in each child’s life & for them to take the good memories they have from CPBASC with them into their future
Hi! I’m Kate and I am currently in my 4th year of working with the wonderful children at Connells Point BASC. I attended Connells Point Public School and BASC as a student and love working here even more. I am also undertaking a degree in Bachelor of Education (Primary) at University, where I continue to develop my skills in childrens’ education and well-being. I enjoy getting creative and having fun with the children here at BASC, ensuring our activities target their interests, as well as encouraging them to be as original as possible with all of our activities!
